The Robots LIVE 7/5/13

The Robots have allowed me to play around with my lighting during their gig at The Track Lounge. It is fun learning about lighting this way. Later in this blog you will see some of my "playing around".

The Track Lounge is probably one of the nicest local town lounges I have been in. The people are great (staff and guests). They love their music. They love The Robots. The Robots in return accept us as who we are, let us play, and in the end everyone has a good time in a place conducive to having a good time.

I have met a lot of people at The Track Lounge. I do not remember all of their names. (Frankly, hardly remember most of them. One of my flaws.) I do know they enjoy having me around taking photographs. I think next month I am going to do more flash photography.

Oh, by the way, The Robots play at The Track Lounge every 1st Friday of the month. They also host an open mic the 3rd Friday of every month. The Track also has other musicians come in during the month. Check them out!!!!

Fun was in the air this evening.  Here are photos . . .

My "Sis" and the girls . . .

Everyone having fun . . . the ladies on the dance floor . . . and elsewhere . . .

Now some photos of Buddha Belly (me) . . .

One of the many faces of "Bob". The first time I photographed The Robots, I captured Bob's faces, his entertainment that he gives us. He's not shy, he's honest, a gentleman's gentleman. I am thinking now this runs in his family . . .

Now some play time with flash photography. Please note, the room was still lit as in the above photos. This is now me being creative . . .

This next series with Josh Neal-Nesius Aka-yoshi singing and on harp. Josh is a really cool guy, learning his craft as he goes, and he makes for some great photo ops . . .

Thank you to The Track Lounge, and to The Robots, for having me.  Both of you have given me the venue to work on my photography.  I do greatly appreciate it.

See everyone August 2nd!!!!!!!!

Paul Henry's Acoustic Jam

Well, a storm hit and knocked the power out in Hammond. This did not stop the regions top repeat weekly JAM, this time true acoustic style. Not even the coffee pot could electrify a song.

Because of no electricity, Dave moved the event outside, made it free for us to attend, and set the end for when the sun went down.  What an enjoyable, relaxing, cool gentle evening. The crowd was just the right size, the artists kept us engaged, and I, well, I took photos. Here you go . . .

Oh, I wanted to write Frick and Frack to the above photo, and did not. Went back and added it today (6/29/13).  They may or may not ice skate, however, still very entertaining.

I rolled out a little early. It was nice to see everyone enjoying themselves. Until next week . . .
