Brothers & Wine LIVE 5/2/15

Wow. This show was pretty cool. My first time seeing RockZilla. My second time for Brothers & Wine, who are the new kid in town.

My bride knows everyone in NW Indiana, so it seems. She is a big music fan like me, and a photographer, not like me (better than me).  She has been following Rockzilla for some time, and knows all of the musicians. Me, I have been following our recent Brothers&Wine, who are quickly cranking it up to be a headliner band by the end of the year, in my opinion.

Each person is unique. You get these unique individuals (musicians) in a band, and that band becomes unique. It was a good mix between these two bands tonight. Each had their voice, their uniqueness, their Rock on.

Your opening band for the evening . . .

Brothers&Wine

Tommy Mayer - Lead Vocals

Scott Barriero - Guitar / Vocals

Mick Zajac - Lead Guitar

Billy Mayer - Drums

Pete Moran - Bass

Enjoy the photos!

RockZilla

Tony Troncozo - Lead Vocals, Guitar

Mike Sheffield - Guitar, Vocals

Michael Troncozo - Drummer

Shawn Farrell - Base, Vocals

I have to say, I like the drummer in this group. He had this music down. It looked effortless, and felt great to the ears!

It was a teat when Rockzilla invited Tommy of Brothers&Wine up to sing. Rock ass kicking if I do say so . . .

Upsidedown & Backwards LIVE 5/1/15

The Griffith Central Market is OPEN for business! Long awaited I might add. It was nice to be back to this family friendly local neighborhood event. Some new vendors too!

Eventually, throughout the season, I will buy something from everyone. One vendor I did not show in this photo series, and bought something from, is "A Spice Above". Their product is soooo good, like all the others at the market. Also not shown, who I stopped at and bought tonight, Buck's BBQ where I always take home some slabs of ribs, and Taste and See for some farm stand corn, potatoes, and a red pepper.

Below is where I first stopped. T&S Catering of Griffith. I love their spicy link! There is much more to choose from . . .

This Friday's market band, Upside Down & Backwards. Real smooth blues, funk, and soul thrown in for good measure.

Yes, the Perogi Truck! Had their Kraut and some Mushroom tonight . . .

The Griffith Central Market is every Friday through the end of October, so come visit, relax, eat, and get to know our vendors who support us. (The vendor list is from last year. I still need to add the new vendors for this year. Thanks to all our vendor, current, past, and future, who help make this event so enjoyable!)
