Tuesday Bluesday @ Emilio's

So, we have created another Tuesday Bluesday, now at Emilio's Restaurante and Cantina! This was the first event with my pals Jeff Massey and Kenny Kinsey. There will be another one scheduled for May 10th, 6-9pm, so put it on your calendar. It is hopeful this will continue every 2nd Tuesday of the month!!!

Plenty of room and find food. Add to that blues from two of our greatest musicians and you have a very filling Tuesday evening. If you have not hear Jeff or Kenny play or sing before, now is your time. Two of the most nicest and talented guys you will ever meet.

Here are some photographs from the evening. Come join on May 10th for food, drink, and blues . . .

The Steepwater Band back at Beer Geeks 2/25/2022

Nice to be with The Steepwater Band fam: Jeff, Joe, Eric, and Joe. Though it was just a couple months ago when I saw them last, this moment felt special. I really enjoyed their play tonight. It had it’s own vibe. Jeff took his guitar and made it one with his emotions of the play, telling us his story, and we understood. Each member took their turn in the play, baring their emotion to us too. And to Jeff Massey I just want to say, Thank You for being a friend.

Beer Geeks is always crowded when TSB plays there. I have never found a spot to photograph from, nor does roaming around work. The photographs seemed to be always missing something. So this time I chose to sit up close, front and center, getting the full intake of sound (while wearing hearing aids), and photographed what I saw. Only one full band photograph in this blog. The rest are bits and pieces from my vantage point, given the lens I used. The beer I had was excellent, and as always, the staff was great!

Here are the photographs starting with some from inside Beer Geeks. The place to come and drink a craft beer and to play board games. As I entered, there was one couple doing just that.
