Gerry Hundt LIVE 12/7/17

My bride Christi and I had been watching Gerry Hundt's solo gig live on Thursday nights at Doc's. Gerry is a accomplished blues player. We just had to get out there one evening and see him live. This evening Christi could not make it, so I went by myself.

Here are some photographs of the evening.

While there, I partook in the BBQ ribs with a side of macaroni and cheese, and some Louisiana coleslaw. Wow!

Gerry and Kenny LIVE at Griffith Central Market

Another day at the market.  Sounds boring?  Absolutely not!  This is the time to kick back and to enjoy what Griffith has to offer.  A great place to meet friends and to enjoy the evening, and to be with the superb entertainment of Gerry Hunt and Kenny Kinsey.  These guys are real class, a gentlemen's gentlemen.  I enjoyed the roots style music, and I really enjoyed watching their entertainment of the children.  So much, I failed to photograph the children singing with them and dancing.  Oops.

I was hungry this evening too.  I ate pierogi from Ely's Genuine Homade Pierogi, a grilled cheese sandwich from The Cheesy Truck, and a beef briquette sandwich from T&S Catering tonight!  Here are some photos of the event.

Griffith Central Market with the Gang

It is really nice to see your friends at the Griffith Central Market. Grindhouse Cafe was there with their new truck. Going mobile now to spread the word! The special feature at the market today was Gerry Hunt playing the early show, followed by Billy Ozzello with Chris Grove on keyboard and Jennifer Cimbala on violin. Later they were joined by The Robots (Pete Calacci, Bob Sherman, Eddie Fell, and Danny Mac who was not present this evening). The Robots are the first band I ever photographed and have been following for close to four years now. So for me the was a most excellent evening of musical entertainment!

So given that, all but a couple of these photos are of the musicians who played. Come out again September 18th for an even more amazing performance!
