Upsidedown & Backwards LIVE 11/30/17

Upsidedown & Backwards, a very cool blues, funk, and soul band (and I mean band because it takes a band like this to be so cool), played at our local Beer Geeks in Highland on Thanksgiving evening. My son was in town, so he and I went out for some tunes and a beer.

Needless to say, Ryan Frahm on lead guitar and vocal is very talented. For as many times as I have seen and listen to him play, each time still feels new. His play seems to change with what happened during the week or the day. He streaks out in the moment of play what he feels. A true blues man.

Beer Geeks is a very cool place to have a beer and be geeky at board games, and watching of geek shows on the telly. The staff is super courteous, willing to help you try a new beer, or to just kick back with.

Here are some photographs of the evening. Enjoy!

Rock 'N' Rail Fest LIVE 9/3/16

For Day 1 photos you can click "here". For Day 2 photos you can click "here".

Day 3 of the Rock 'N' Rail Festival . . . Saturday! We took it easy this day. I wanted to see Upsidedown and Backwards, my bride Christi wanted to see the Muddsharks, and we both wanted to see Pandora Rocks! So we arrived just after noon time and caught the end of Capernaum. You can find out more about them on Facebook by clicking "here". Here are a couple photos of them.

Upsidedown & Backwards

I cannot say enough about the heavy blues from Ryan Frahm and the band. Blues, funk, soul, all deep into the groove. You need to check them out. You can find out more about them on Facebook by clicking "here".

Muddsharks

The Muddsharks are Christi's band, so look for her blog. (Hurry up Christi so I do not get a shark bite . . . ) I will link it here later for you to find. In the mean time you can catch more of them on their Facebook page by clicking "here".

Pandora Rocks

Pandora Rocks plays "party/rock music from the 80's through today". A previous co-worker of mine, Perry Hudson, plays the base for them. DeAnn Sanders who is the lead singer is outstanding on stage. This is another band that I like to see at least a couple times (if not more) a year. You can find out more about them on Facebook by clicking "here".
