Chris & Chad's First Date

So, this was the first time that Chris and Chad had ever played music together. I must say, you would not have known it.

As I drove up I hear some Peter Gabriel. Probably my favorite artist. Needless to say I had to hurry up a little before I missed it. No rehearsal, no set list to speak of, just down home jamming to some great music. Pure talent there.

Northwoods Falls had done an excellent job with their back deck and stage, using the woodland area as a backdrop. You can dine inside or out, and there is no cover to listen to the music!. A true supporter of our local music here in NW Indiana.

Tuesday Bluesday @ Emilio's

So, we have created another Tuesday Bluesday, now at Emilio's Restaurante and Cantina! This was the first event with my pals Jeff Massey and Kenny Kinsey. There will be another one scheduled for May 10th, 6-9pm, so put it on your calendar. It is hopeful this will continue every 2nd Tuesday of the month!!!

Plenty of room and find food. Add to that blues from two of our greatest musicians and you have a very filling Tuesday evening. If you have not hear Jeff or Kenny play or sing before, now is your time. Two of the most nicest and talented guys you will ever meet.

Dan & Bruce at Region Ale 4/23/22

So, this year is starting out very well for music. Just my opinion. I am very happy about the song selection and arrangement bands are making. There is a story being told. A groove to follow that you can make your own. This night was no exception to that strive.

Dan and Bruce were perfect this evening at Region Ale. The music they selected was great for that moment. Their made on the fly set list worked perfectly to tell us a story, which obviously was left to us to make up and tell to ourselves. However, it would not have happened without them.

People get into harmonizing. That is not important to me. What is important is the sound being generated. Dan and Bruce's voice compliment each other. They sound great together. They had fun up in front of us, and we had even more fun in front of them.
