So, you thought the first three sessions were good. They saved the best for last! More guitarists, bassists, keyboardists, drummers on one stage than you can shake a stick at.
With multiple bands headlining a show you will sometimes have a group session to close out. With these guys it becomes more than that. It can be a chance to jam to different artist covers, to do something different vocally, and even battle it out with guitars. Any way you look at it, they did it tonight.
And oh my, I thought I died and went to heaven. If you left early, well oh oh. The musicians don't do anything if they cannot give it there all with afterburners on. With the strength of Daryl's voice, the thumbing of the bass of Mike, the beating of the drums of Glenn, the heavy rock guitars from Pete and Joe, and the background keyboards of Rick, the last cover they did was from Black Sabbath, and the song . . . drum roll please . . . War Pigs. Heavy Metal at its best during a time of protesting the war. Heavy metal at its best tonight from a group of guys out to have some fun.
Remember fans, it is not over until they turn off the lights.
If you have not already, see blogs 1 of 4, 2 of 4, and 3 of 4, reading 1 of 4 before anything else.
Great music, great sound, great venue, great support from all. Please continue to support our local arts!
